Tackhouse Pottery is a sustainable artisan studio for potters to enjoy the tranquil and designated space for their craft. Tackhouse Pottery is designed to share a love of art and to create an artisan community that embraces the simple things in life.
OUR STORY
Founded in 2020 by Mike Newell, Tackhouse Pottery is a community of artists and students working side-by-side in a friendly environment that encourages and inspires artistic growth. We believe everyone has an artist inside them, looking to express oneself and we want to help you find your artistic voice.
With our last Wheel Throwing Classes beginning the second week of October,
that's a wrap on our 2025 classes!
We had a great year of classes filled with new and familiar faces, alike. With the addition of our Intermediate class, we saw a lot of students excel in their wheel throwing abilities and create some really beautiful pieces. If we weren't able to get you into a class this year, or your itching to get back in the studio - hang tight! We are working on our class schedule for 2026 and will have that posted soon.
